How to Disable and Enable Touch Screen on Chromebook?

 

Chromebooks are a new sort of computer that is intended to let your complete tasks more quickly and easily. They run Chrome OS, an operating system with cloud storage, Google's greatest features, and numerous levels of security built in.


 

Chromebooks are not like your regular laptops. They have some simpler features than Windows devices and Mac-books. In fact, most tweaks are done from the actual Chrome browser on the laptop. This may sound a little annoying, but it certainly adds to the simplicity aspect here.

 

1. To disable the touchscreen or touch-pad, open the Chrome browser on your Chromebook. 
2. Then, type in “chrome://flags/#ash-debug-shortcuts” in the address bar.

 


 
3. From the next screen, locate Debugging keyboard shortcuts. It’s probably going to be highlighted.
4. Click Enable to enable this option.
5. Now, restart your device and use the Search + Shift + T key to disable the touchscreen function.

 
6. To disable the touch pad function, press Search + Shift + P.

This allows a way to toggle the touch screen on or off.
